If you are a current or committed educator, you should have already received an email with a unique link for you to register for the conference. If you don’t see the email, please check your spam mailbox. If you still can’t find the email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
The priority registration deadline is May 1, 2020. Preferred flights and space at the conference hotel are not guaranteed after May 1. Registration to partners, supporters and other interested parties opens on May 4.
The average cost of attendance per individual to YEedu is $2,500. This cost is inclusive of the items outlined below and is paid by Youth Entrepreneurs. Your registration to YEedu confirms that you understand the expenses YE will cover and agree to personally cover any and all costs associated with attendance above and beyond these expenses:
• Conference registration fee
• Plane ticket to and from the event OR car parking fee (local Dallas educators)
• Food for most meals during the conference (specifically as indicated in question above)
• Hotel room (room, tax and internet)
Flights to Dallas will be scheduled for departure from your chosen airport on Sunday, June 28, with your arrival planned prior to the conference start time. Flights home from Dallas will be scheduled for 1pm Central or later on Wednesday, July 1. If for some reason we are not able to accommodate this flight schedule, you will be contacted by event staff prior to us booking your flight.
Flights will be booked starting in April. You will receive an email confirmation with your booking details once the flight is confirmed.
Ground transportation will be provided from the airport to the hotel on your arrival day and from the hotel to the airport on your departure day. More details will be shared as the event date gets closer.
Hotel room confirmations will be available in June once a final list is submitted to the hotel. Rest assured, if you have registered for the event, you will have a hotel room.
YE will provide meals as indicated below:
- Lunch provided for new 2020-21 school year educators only
- Dinner provided
- Breakfast and lunch provided, dinner on your own
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided
- Breakfast provided
The full agenda will be released along with information about the mobile app by June 12. You can expect plenty of time to network, be exposed to new ideas, experience the city of Dallas and participate in activities such as:
- Small group discussions
- Interactive workshops
- Keynote and breakout session speakers
- Leave-to-learn opportunities within the Dallas metroplex
- Community building with their peers
Yes, there will be a mobile app for the event outlining all the details for the conference. Look for an email by June 12 with instructions on how to download and use the app.
The dress code for the entire event will be casual. Please wear comfortable shoes. You are encouraged to dress in layers or bring a jacket as the conference space may be cold.
